Sports Tours in Newcastle

We thoroughly believe that on the eighth day, the Good Lord put an axis into the ground in Newcastle City Centre and declared that the World shall revolve around this magnificent place for eternity.

We may be slightly biased about our fantastic home city, but show me a person who leaves here disappointed and we'll admit defeat. Newcastle possesses a vibrant atmosphere like no other. Whether it be by day on the bustling hives of Northumberland Street and Grey Street, or at night on the World Class Quayside or eyebrow raising Bigg Market.

Being based near the city gives us un-rivalled knowledge, friendships and connections with the local Rugby Community. Because of this, we can create a Rugby Experience in Newcastle like no other package available. We have a great working relationship with the Newcastle Falcons, work regularly with the top Rugby Schools in Newcastle and work closely with the Northumberland Rugby Union.

The best destination in the UK for an Adult Rugby Tour is also the best place for a pre-season training camp. Click Here for more details on our magnificent summer programme.

It's not all attitude and late nights. The city is trully beautiful. Take a walk down Grey Street, along a Georgian Boulevard ranked as the third best street in England, under the drastic railway bridge before getting to the Quayside - undoubtedly one of Britain's most stunning waterside developments. It is no wonder that Lonely Planet has Newcastle in it's top 10 places to visit in 2011.

Where Can We Stay?

Newcastle is home to the best budget-hotel in the UK. Opened in March 2011, the venue has hosted our teams of all ages and touring mentalities with equal success. The Hostel is absolutely fantastic. In all honesty, the only thing it will have in common with most Hostels is the bunk-bed rooms. Throw in Plasma TV's and superb superb bathrooms in each room; a bar run by the owner of Newcastle's most popular nightspots; a location set smack-between the city centre, the Bigg Market and the Quayside; and a restaurant serving a classic pub grub menu with meals from as little as £4.00 per person and you have yourself a top-notch base.

For those groups travelling on a larger budget, we work with a superb superior 3* Hotel in the student suburb of Jesmond. Centred effectively along a 'bar-street' the town is packed in the evenings with Students and Young Pro's alike, all warming up here before making the 1 mile walk into Newcastle City Centre. Your Hotel has it's own late opening bar, which is one of the more popular places along the street for the locals.

How do we get to Newcastle?

It is a general opinion for people in southern England that Newcastle is located just inside the Arctic Circle. How wrong you are. Thanks to our excellent relationship with East Coast Rail, we are not only able to get you to Newcastle from London Kings Cross within 3 hours, but can do it at a fraction of the price. Our city centre accommodation is within walking distance of Newcastle Central Station, meaning you will not need to hire a coach to get you there.

For those travelling from the North West, or the Midlands, Newcastle is very accessible by the M1/A1 Motorways. It is just under 2 Hours from Leeds, and 3 Hours from Manchester on a good day.

Finally from the South West and Wales, Newcastle Airport has services between Cardiff and Bristol Airport. Keep an eye out for cheap flights especially with Easyjet from Bristol. Look for non-footballing and non-holiday weekends as they tend to be very cheap.
