Sports Tours in Cork
For a tourist in Cork, the worst thing you can say is go up to
the bridge and turn left. As there are 20 bridges across the River
Lee, and the saying goes, 'you have 19 ways of being wrong!'
The buzz
around Cork could depict that of no other of a city in Ireland. The
city once known as the Rebel City of Ireland has been likened to
Dublin without the traffic, but the majority of the residents see
themselves as being distinctively different from the rest of
Ireland.
The
compact city centre makes it easy to get around on foot, but if
you're keen to head out of the city then why not head west to Watch
Wales off the Atlantic Coastline, or to the Blarney Castle to kiss
the world famous stone.
Cork, like
other cities in Ireland has a great sporting tradition. The famous
Rugby Sevens at nearby Kinsale has attracted teams from across the
globe, but with Gaelic Football, Hurling, Horse Racing & Ferret
Racing on offer, you have plenty to choose from!
