Sports Tours in Rome

Another one of those cities that needs little introduction. This historical and religious powerhouse is a fantastic city to visit on tour, and we have worked tirelessly to ensure that you can get the most out of it.

Our tours are based in the city centre. We have 3* Hotels and top-rated Hostels to choose from depending on your budget, then from there, it is action all the way.

We have an excellent link with Capitolina Rugby Club, a one-time giant of Italian Rugby who infamously turned their back on professionalism to return to the lower echelons of Italian Rugby and return to amateurism. They have a superb club with two excellent pitches and a fantastic restaurant in their clubhouse which makes for excellent aftermatch functions.

As well as the Rugby, Rome has much to offer your group. Why not go to Gladiator School, or spend a day at the beach at Ostia as part of your visit. Then, there is the sightseeing. Be prepared to be flat out here from start to finish!

Rome is vast. The number of iconic landmarks in the city is unreal. We highly recommend hiring a tour guide for the day who will give you an insight into the history of the landmarks of the city, and tell you some facts the history books may not. For example, did you know that the first ever McDonalds restaurant in Europe was opened in Rome? You do now, and some restaurant it is too!

Rome is a great stopping point on a longer tour to Italy. When twinned with Tuscany and Lake Como, it makes for a special few days. Italy itself is a great contrasting country, with bustle like Rome and tranquility as found in Tuscany and the mountains above Lake Como.

Being a major city, flights to Rome are available from across the UK. For more assistance and advice on how to get the most out of your visit to Rome, please get in touch.

Women's Rugby Tours to Rome

Rome would be a fantastic final stop on a longer Italian Tour. Having played fixtures in Venice and Milan, your final game will be here. As there is only one competitave club in the city, we would recommend travelling to Lido di Jesolo for a multi-game tour.

Youth Rugby Tours to Rome

Rome is a fantastic Rugby destination. We will arrange fixtures for you with competitive opposition across the city. Training opportunities on the excellent facilities at Capitolina make great preparation for the games. Why not travel on a 6 Nations weekend and watch Italy compete at the unique Stadio Flaminio?
