Gap It Now

posted on 01 June 2011

Run by New Zealand All-Black legend Craig Dowd, Gap It Now is a company based in Auckland that is revolutionising the way young British Rugby players can spend their year-out playing Rugby in New Zealand.

The gap year in New Zealand is almost a right of passage for many young players from the UK, but with Gap It Now, the process is more formal and the arrangements will be less like a stab in the dark. Gap It Now will arrange accommodation with other Rugby Players in the area, line the tourists up with good clubs, and provide a support network that would otherwise not be available.

The Gap It Now team also offer an elite experience where professional clubs can send their hottest young stars across to New Zealand for a Martin Johnson style finishing school.

We are pleased to say that we are working in association with Gap It Now in assisting their work in the UK, but also having the opportunity to offer Rugby Tours between New Zealand and Europe for their vast array of associate club and school teams.

The UK-leg of Gap It Now is managed by ex-Sale & Northampton back Vaughan Going.
