Cricket

What is life but a game of Cricket?

The game we all know and love has gone through incomprehensible changes over recent years. The Twenty20 phenomenon has turned top Cricketers into Millionaires and Superstars almost overnight, making them as recognisable as Footballers and Formula 1 drivers.

Some things however, never change. The nuts and bolts of the game is still on the village greens every summery Saturday afternoon up and down the country, and that is what we love.

We have sorted our Cricket Tours into two categories.

Our obscure Cricket Tours are all to destinations not known for their Cricketing prowess. Portugal, Croatia, Estonia, Spain, Italy and erm, Ireland are all on the list.

Our second category is the good-old village Cricket Tour. Think Real Ale, Exceptional Tea's, Social Matches, the British Countryside and a Hearty Welcome. Our list includes destinations in Lancashire, Northumberland, the Scottish Borders. Please contact us for more information.

Wimbledon CC go on tour every year.  This year Sky High Sports organised our tour to Vilamoura.  What a classy place - we drank beer watching over the super yachts, ate fish gazing upon the marina evening life and partied till 4am each day.  We quickly remembered why we shouldn't drink too much before a game of Cricket in 35 degree heat !!

Our apartments were within 100 yards of the Marina, within 50 yards of every restaurant in town and just a short stagger from the bars and nightclubs that make the town famous.

Well done to Richie for sorting out our tour.  I hope the maids in the apartments know what to do with the bicycle we left in the bath.

Just a quick note to say thank you for your efforts in organising the tour.

Everything you sorted worked to a tee, the opposition were competitive, the cricket facilities were better than anticipated and Galway managed to tip us upside down every night.

The "craic" was better than our cricket but all things considered we had a great tour, thank you for your efforts we will use you again, recommending Sky High Sports to all and sundry.
