Rugby Training Camps

Introducing the number #1 pre-season rugby venue for 2021

St. Andrews

Situated on a beautiful bay on the east coast of the Kingdom of Fife, St Andrews is Scotland’s oldest university town, a mecca for golfers and now home to perhaps the best rugby training venue in the UK.

The sporting facilities at the University of St Andrews far exceed their modest sporting reputation and match any campus facility we’ve seen over 12 years of helping performance teams exceed their potential.

Edinburgh Rugby, Gloucester Rugby and the Scotland National team are regular visitors to the venue, as are Manchester United & FC Barcelona.

The peaceful and charming nature of the town makes it a relaxed haven to concentrate on the job at hand. Your players will fall-out of their uni-beds onto the immaculately manicured Rugby Pitches, into the state of the art S&C Suite packed with Olympic Platforms, Squat Racks & wide range of free weights and CV machines.

Nearby, the vast West Sands beach offers further facilities and the North Sea of course is an ideal tonic for recovery.

Widely renowned as the home of Golf, the sport has been played in the town since the 1400’s. What better way to promote healthy competition within your squad, by shooting 18 holes on one of the famous links courses?

The town has a proud Rugby heritage too. St Andrews University themselves are one of the oldest rugby clubs in Scotland. Currently, their programme is ran by ex-Scotland Hooker Scott Lawson. Scott is now the National U20 Coach and is a close friend to us here at The Rugby Tour Specialists.
