Key Information

The Rugby

Rugby in Seville is big. There are six Rugby Clubs, three seperate Women's Teams, a lively University Collegiate Competition and over 5000 players lacing their boots in the city. Seville's main club, Rugby Ciencias, who herald from the University of Sciences boasts the largest Youth Programme in Spain & has two Division de Honor titles to its name - unrivalled in Andalucia.

The city is the base of the Andalucian representative teams and its location within a few hours from Portugal opens up many opportunities for tri-country round robins. Seville, for Rugby, is a real hidden gem.

Train

Renfe, the Spanish Rail Network, provides an outstanding Fast-Train service, which makes traversing the country very easy and relatively affordable.

Combining Seville with Barcelona, Madrid, Malaga or Lisbon as a multi-stop tour is made easy by travelling great distances in short times courtesy of the AVE Train.

Air

Whilst Seville has an airport well-served by some European hubs, the major local Airport is Malaga, or failing that, Madrid.

From Malaga, it is a 90-minute coach journey to Seville. Seville is a great city to combine with Madrid or Malaga on a multi-stop, wider tour of Spain.

Residencia CAER

Built on the shore of the River Guadelquivir, the residence is a popular retreat for some of Europe’s finest rowers, canoeists and kayak enthusiasts.
